I spent numerous years as a hospital bedside nurse.  I took a career break to homeschool my children and care for my mother as she traveled through a long journey with Alzheimer's Disease.  After her passing, I decided to change career paths and become a freelance health writer.  Because of the Alzheimer's intrusion, I have done a deep dive into the latest research regarding cognitive decline and Alzheimer's.  Writing about that topic is a passion, along with other issues that impact women's health and the health of seniors.
